Brisbane Roar have bolstered their attacking ranks by signing former Melbourne Victory young gun Joey Katebian for the coming A-League season.

Katebian has agreed to a one-year contract and will reunite with John Aloisi, who was a youth mentor at Victory before taking the senior coaching role in Brisbane.

"I know Joey from my time at Victory and he's a striker who definitely knows where the goal is," Aloisi said.
