Roar's Solorzano out of Glory clash

Brisbane Roar striker Jean Carlos Solorzano is set to miss Sunday's A-League clash with Perth Glory despite his hamstring injury not being as bad as first thought.

Making his first appearance of the season in Friday's scoreless draw with Sydney FC, Solorzano came off the bench but lasted just eight minutes until his hamstring gave way.

There were fears the injury-plagued Costa Rican could be out for an extended period but scans revealed only a low-grade strain, which the coaching staff isn't putting a timeframe on.

The Roar will also be without captain Matt McKay, defender Corey Brown and the in-form Jamie Maclaren (international duty) for Glory's visit on Sunday while Michael Theo (quad) remains under an injury cloud.
