The Final Countdown
With only days remaining before the grand final it seems as though the weather could play an integral part in determining this years champions. The Brisbane Roar and West Sydney Wanderers have been arguebly the two stella clubs in this seasons competition and pundits believe the result of Sunday's match could be settled after the regulation 90 minutes.
Whats at Stake
The Brisbane Roar have led the competition from start to finish and will be hoping to send Berisha out on a high. On the other hand, only redemption is on the minds of all Wanderers players as they look to avenge last years grand final heartache.
The Melbourne Victory did a fantastic job of shutting down Broich last week and I'm sure 'Poppa' will be looking to employ the same tactics by utilising a second defender to reduce the Germans space and time on the ball. With the forecast showing a large chance of rain, it could be a case of one goal then 'park the bus' as both these sides have extremely well organised backlines. Mulvey will need to ensure that there work rate is of a high standard as they did not finish off last weeks semi-final.
Can the Roar finish off the perfect season, or will they run out of gas?
Is it a case of you need to lose one to win one for the Wanderers?
How much has the Asian Champions League taught the men from Western Sydney?
Is there one more twist in the Brisbane Roar career of Beshart Berisha?
Regardless of the result it has been a super year and I hope everyone has enjoyed the viewing spectactle put on by this seasons playing group. Have a few frothies on Sunday and get ready for an absolute Corka!
