Stalemate For Roar

The Brisbane Roar earned a draw away from home with a solid 1-1 performance. With Berisha out, the stage was set for Jean Carlos Solorzano to earn his first start in almost a 3 season period.

In what can only be described as two teams trying to play football on a soaked pitch, Liam Miller broke the 0-0 deadlock to give Brisbane the lead going into halftime. On the hour, Juric then equalised to give the Wanderers a boost in their attempts to gain second spot.

However the final 30minutes saw both teams try hard for a winner with no success leaving the match finishing in a 1-1 draw.

Both coaches wont be happy with the goals conceeded as they came about from defences failing to clear their lines. I'm sure 'Gaffa' Mulvey will be happy to get through the 90minutes with a point earned and no injuries concerns.
